Revived for Spring

Revived for Spring

The early mornings and longer daylight are working for me. It is becoming easier to get going and get more done in my day. I sometimes think I might be solar-powered. What about you?

I am running with the added benefit of having had a few days away last week.

WOW!

I had forgotten how time off and away as a proper break is good for the soul.

Massage can be similar.

Taking a full few hours out of your day to switch off completely and let your body and mind be transported to some different place can have lasting benefits on your mental well-being and creativity.

Let's talk about that:

Body: Your muscles and cells receive relaxing stimulation while being massaged, which can relieve tension but can also make you strangely tired and thirsty as if you have been physically active.

I always want to stress that getting a massage is not a substitute for seeing a doctor for health concerns.

Mind: While your mind drifts into a daydream, you will forget about your worldly concerns for a while, leaving your subconscious to do its work. It's like when you wake up in the morning with fresh ideas on how to tackle a problem... a good massage can have that effect.

In other posts, I have discussed some of the other benefits, but right now, as I feel recharged, I wanted to recommend that you do the same.
